What to Expect From a Personal Care Visit
Every visit is unique to the individual, but here is an example of what a typical morning personal care visit might look like.
Arrival & Greeting
Your care worker arrives at the agreed time, greets you by name and confirms the tasks for the visit. They wash their hands before beginning any care.
Bed Bath or Assisted Shower
Depending on preference and mobility, the care worker assists with a full shower, bath or bed bath — ensuring comfort, privacy and warmth throughout.
Skincare & Grooming
Moisturiser, prescribed creams, shaving if required, hair brushing and styling according to the client’s wishes.
Dressing
The care worker assists with choosing and putting on the day’s clothing, adaptive garments if needed and footwear. The client always leads.
