Every new enquiry to SGE Care begins with a thorough, no-obligation assessment conducted by an experienced member of our team — in person, by telephone or via video call. We take time to understand not just the clinical or support needs, but also the individual's routines, preferences, life history, cultural background and personal goals.

From this assessment, we build a detailed, personalised care plan. This is not a static document — it is a living record, reviewed regularly, updated as needs evolve and shared openly with the individual, their family and all relevant professionals involved in their care.

At SGE Care, we work hard to match the right care workers to each person, taking into account not just skills and experience but also personality, communication style and cultural fit.

All staff undergo rigorous pre-employment checks including enhanced DBS clearance, reference verification and right-to-work checks. They complete comprehensive induction training and receive ongoing specialist development in: dementia care, autism awareness, positive behaviour support, mental health, medication management, safeguarding, moving and handling, and MCA/DoLS.
